Return for Warranty Claim Process & Terms of Service
If you have a potential warranty Issue email email@example.com with the symptoms occurring, Do not return the controller until you have attempted to contact and then been informed by one of our Technical team Members on how to proceed, Free Technical Support upon sign-up at our website If you experience difficulty during the installation or subsequent use of an ASI product, Prior to contacting ASI/ATE Technical Support department, Please have Fault Codes available, Fault codes are obtained by having your system scanned and the Fault codes extracted, These fault codes are used by us to determine the actual fault and final determination if the controller needs to be returned. The warranty return form can be downloaded directly from our website. Please Include this form with controller and a copy of your Invoice; warranty will only be honored if you are the original purchaser. Please include in detail the extent of your failures or problems you are experiencing. Once you have Downloaded and printed the warranty form send the Controller freight-prepaid and insured to ASI/ATE Warranty Dept. mailed to the address at the bottom of warranty form. Controllers must be properly packaged to prevent damage in transit. You must include the ASI Warranty return form in package to have your Controller retested, If our Warranty Form does not accompany the part, we will not test it until we have knowledge of the subsequent failures and this will hold up the return process.
CONTROLLERS LEFT AT ASI/ATE FACILITY FOR MORE THAN 30 days from ARRIVAL DATE ARE CONSIDERED
ABANDONED & BECOME THE PROPERTY OF ASI/ATE, WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO DISPOSE OF AS WE SEE
ASI/ATE warrants to the original Invoiced customer that its rebuilt products are free from defects in material and
workmanship. Subject to the conditions and limitations set forth below, ASI/ATE will, at its option, either repair or replace the controller In question that proves to be defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials only. If ASI/ATE. Is unable to repair or replace the product (or If part is not rebuildable a core fee will be due for replacement of the controller. We do not replace controllers free of charge that come back in a Non Rebuildable condition, Unless it was originally purchased from our Inventory and a core fee was charged at that time of purchase. For Customers original part R&R Service, If a controller fails
and is not rebuildable, the customer has his or her choice to supply a different controller to ASI/ATE instead of purchasing our replacement, in which case we will rebuild under the Warranty program for the term stated on the customers Invoice (if rebuildable) free of charge, except for shipping fees, If the R&R customer does not want to pay or supply a replacement for the additional core fee for the replacement then a prorated refund will be processed based on time in service.
The determination of the “Term” “Life Time Warranty” of a vehicles average life Term expectancy is considered 13 years as stated at the Department of Transportation Website, ASI/ATE will use this term to determine the prorate of time in service at time of pro-rated refund up to and not further than this number, Once received, we will verify and then start the refund process, refunds take up to 30 business days from the time proof of replacement is faxed to ASI/ATE Corporate facility.
Our limited warranties do not cover any damage to the Controller that results from improper installation, accident, abuse, misuse, natural disaster, insufficient or excessive electrical supply, abnormal mechanical or environmental conditions, or any unauthorized disassembly, repair, or modification. Or if Warranty Void Labels are Tampered with, Warranty will immediately be voided. This limited warranty also does not apply to any Controller on which the original identification information has been altered, obliterated or removed, has not been handled or packaged correctly for the return to the ASI/ATE, has been sold as
second-hand or has been resold. Our limited warranty covers repair or replacement only (core fee applies if not rebuildable) for a defective ASI/ATE product, as provided above. ASI is not liable for, and does not cover under warranty any loss of use, labor charges, rental car fees or any costs other than the cost for ASI/ATE to repair the unit.
Duration of Warranty
As stated on your Invoice. And subject to the Terms listed above. This limited warranty applies only to the original Invoiced
ASI/ATE customer of the product for so long as the original ASI/ATE customer owns the product. This limited warranty is non-transferable.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE OR JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.
All Warranty issues will be returned postage due. Shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.
When a Rebuilt Controller is purchased from our Inventory this is purchased on an Exchnage basis, You MUST return your Faulty Controller within 15 DAYS of Invoice Date to enable your Long Term Warranty with A.S.I., Cores returned after 15 days will receive no credit. And Your Initial Warranty will be Voided until Like ,kind & Quality Controller is returned,
CORES Cracked, Burned or broken-NO CREDIT VALUE
CORES that have contamination liquid or chemical –NO CREDIT VALUE
CORES with incorrect module boards or prior work conducted-NO CREDIT VALUE
Cores with Damaged Plugs or Cases ---NO CREDIT VALUE
CORES THAT HAVE NO CREDIT VALUE BECOME THE RESPONSIBILTY OF THE CUSTOMER TO RETRIEVE THEIR UNIT.IF
CUSTOMERS WANTS CONTROLLER RETURNED ALL COST ASSOCIATED WITH CONTROLLER MUST BE PAID FOR PRIOR TO LEAVING OUR FACILITY. ALL NON-REBUILDABLE CORES LEFT HERE FOR MORE THAN 30 DAYS FROM THE ARRIVAL DATE WILL BECOME THE PROPERTY OF ASI / ATE.
If selling cores to ASI/ATE, and Once cores are inspected and are processed, core payments will be completed up to 30 business days. If you did not receive a payment within that time than your core or cores were in not rebuildable condition
and no refund was issued. For more information on your core refund, Email: email@example.com. Place your Invoice number on email.
All Controllers sent for testing or repair must have all attached brackets removed before shipping to ASI/ATE, attached brackets may get lost or misplaced, ASI/ATE will not be held responsible. ANY PRODUCT SHIPPED TO ASI/ATE FOR TESTING OR REPAIR AND IS NOT PAID FOR WITHIN 30 DAYS OF ITS COMPLETION BECOMES THE PROPERTY OF ASI/ATE to recoup any fees incurred. Notification of completion will be by ONE the following, Telephone, Email, or Letter,

ASI/ATE TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IS LIMITED TO REPAIR,
REPLACEMENT OR ULTIMATELY PRO-RATED REFUND. REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR PRO-RATED REFUND ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES FOR BREACH OF WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ASI/ATE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO THE PURCHASER OF AN ASI/ATE PRODUCT FOR ANY DAMAGES, EXPENSES, LOSS OF USE, LOST REVENUES, LOST SAVINGS, LOST PROFITS, OR ANY OTHER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE PURCHASE, USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE VEHICLE, EVEN IF ASI/ATE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
