Q: How do I know when my part has been shipped back to me?
A: When you received our R&R form and sent your controller to us we copied all your info on the R&R form into our database system.
From the time you ship your part until the time we return ship, your part is track-able, when we ship your part using UPS, you will automatically receive an email from UPS with all your tracking information with estimated time of arrival.
We can only submit this information to you automatically if you have supplied an email address on your R&R form. Or you can call us toll free 1-866-983-6688 to request your tracking info.

Prior to shipping your ABS module to us for our rebuild service, we suggest that you scan the module for fault codes have the fault code(s) available when speaking with our technical Dept.
Q: What do I do with my failed control module? A: You have the choice of ordering one of ASI /ATE's rebuilt units (Please call for availability). A core charge is collected until your rebuild-able unit is returned to A.S.I. / A.T.E. (Postage pre-paid). We suggest that you send your original controller to ATE for diagnostics. Control modules in vehicles today have have special software installed by the manufacturer, we do not alter this software, once you’re original control module is rebuilt, installation is plug and play. Most times there is no coding, no software Installation, rarely you may only have to clear soft codes that may exist. Once received ATE will inform you if there is a problem, it is also possible that we may be able to inform you of what may have caused the failure and where in the vehicle it may have originated. When returning your core for a refund, please include a copy of the invoice that came in your package with your purchase. This will speed up the refund process. Generally 10 business days.

Q: I just received my rebuilt controller and the check or service engine light is on or the ABS or DSC or Tracs light did not go out. A: Double check all harness connections leading to and from the controller. Make sure fuses and relays are good. Scan controller for error codes since the light is lit, there should be error codes stored. These error codes will inform you of where the failure is and will aid us in helping you. Many times reading and clearing any left over error codes will also shut the warning lights off. There may be old codes set. Check our website tech pages, go to the parts page you are searching for and at the bottom of the page there will be tech info. If no tech info is present email tech@autoecu.com. If testing concludes a premature failure of the rebuilt controller, please visit our warranty return form on our Home Page, click on forms then Warranty Form, print it, and fill it out,
